On February 17, 2009, President Obama signed a stimulus bill that made some changes to the energy efficiency tax credit. The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) changes include the following:

· Tax credits extended for 2009 and 2010

· Tax credits raised from 10% to 30% of the purchase price

· Tax credit maximum amount raised from $500 to $1500

Energy Star Labels

Francis Schulze Company is now certified as an Energy Star partner and has acquired a license to apply Energy Star labels to all assembled exterior entry door units. The NFRC (National Fenestration Rating Council) has inspected Francis Schulze Company and certified that all energy codes and thermal performance standards have been met or exceeded during the assembly process.
